Ever since I was 6 years old, I have played the piano. I discovered that piano is such a tremendous part of my life, and this inspired me to begin teaching in addition to performing and following a professional educational curriculum. On this page, I've shared some of my piano background, including a few of my achievements and experiences!
About Me
I played a piece called Etude in C Major by Mauritz Moszkowski for the San Jose Rising Star Piano Competition in 2021 when I was 11 years old.
I won second place and received this trophy.
I played a piece called Torre Bermeja by Isaac Albéniz for the US Virtual Piano Competition in 2022 when I was 12 years old.
By winning second place in this competition, I was able to travel to Carnegie Hall, New York in 2023 to perform this piece.
I was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York in the summer of 2023.
These are just a few of the many piano awards I have received over the years.
Professional Piano Education: I am working on Level 10 of the Royal Conservatory of Music, having completed upto Level 9. The Royal Conservatory of Music has a challenging curriculum that includes testing of performance skills with repertoire and etudes (extra marks for memorizing notes!), and it also tests on ear training, sight reading, and technical theory like scales, chords and more.
