My son, Avyan, who is 7 years old, started piano lessons with Ria this summer 2024 and I was really impressed. Despite being a high schooler, Ria is talented and patient enough making learning fun. She is easily accessible and provides clear instructions/notes which helped him to do his practice at home. She was open to accommodate any requests to repeat the concepts that weren’t easy to work on. She is organized in her course and the little one looks forward to the class as she makes each session enjoyable. I highly recommend Ria to anyone looking to start learning piano regardless of age.

I have two kids, ages 10 and 6, who have been learning piano at Ria’s Piano Studio. 

Ria is a patient and talented teacher. She is herself a young teen and yet the maturity she has shown in teaching both my kids is worthy of praise. She knows how to build a curriculum and switch between teaching kids who are at different levels of piano and she instils discipline in them by engaging them at their levels, She motivates my older son to compete and challenge himself at all times. These are mature traits in adults, and I appreciate the perseverance in her to tasks that she assigns to her students and herself. I highly recommend her for any role that engages her attention to detail and discipline, since she can conduct any task with the necessary rigor.

I have been taking piano lessons from Ria for the past 6 months. I am a grandma with no prior experience with playing piano but I would like to try it out as a new hobby. I can imagine teaching me would be a challenge to any piano teacher. However, Ria has been so patient and dedicated. Her structured approach ensures steady improvement, and she has an impressive ability to explain complex techniques in a clear and practical way. She is also knowledgeable and passionate about music.
